I've been in the Congo now for five weeks. I've experienced loneliness, frustration, feelings of incompetence, fatigue and a near crash landing on the Congolese national carrier, Air Bravo. But God's provision has been...amazing. Work - while hectic and at times ad hoc - has been fulfilling. I've actually noticed improvements in my French (praise the Lord! Seriously!). I've met great people. I feel challenged everyday. I haven't yet fallen sick. The weather is warm but cooler than it is in Seattle! What more could I ask for. My home:
